"They Are Spoilt Children " - Mourinho Goes On Rant Against United Players

The United manager have gone on a serious rant against his teenage players and did hit out at Manchester United stars Luke Shaw, Anthony Martial, Jesse Lingard and Marcus Rashford for lacking 'character' and 'personality'.

The special one doesn't dull with his outspoken manner but one wonders how well the teenagers would react after he bluntly criticised them publicly in his press conference.

United's form has improved in recent weeks after a disappointing start to the Premier League campaign.

Mourinho's side made their worst start to a league season since 1989-90.

'They are lacking maturity. And let me be clear when I say maturity, I mean maturity on a personal level,' Mourinho told Univision.

'They are spoilt kids now, the kids of today have a different life, an easier environment and I'm talking about the people around the players.

'These people give them too much affection and too many excuses. People mature much more slowly now.

'Luke Shaw, he's got big potential but doesn't know how to behave. Big potential, yes, big potential.

'We're talking about Luke Shaw, Martial, Lingard, Rashford – young, big potential, but at the end of the day it results in the word I cannot say, but you use it a lot here… character, personality, they lack a little.'
